SMART CITY

ODTI_SS_Pic1.jpg

Smart city is the use of information and communication technology (ICT) to sense, analyze, and integrate various key information of the core system of urban operation, so as to intelligently respond to various needs including people's livelihood, environmental protection, public safety, urban services, and industrial and commercial activities.

Its essence is to use advanced information technology to realize the intelligent management and operation of the city, thereby creating a better life for the people in the city, and promoting the harmonious and sustainable growth of the city.

THE SMART CITY DASHBOARD

The smart city demo made by ODTI @April, 2021 (Barangay 76, Pasay)

A smart city is NOT just a dream, it already exists in our lives and is being rapidly constructed in various cities around the world.
It is also the direction and goal we are truly committed to, and we will always remain open to embrace all technology partners, bring the most advanced technology into this country--and provide the most reliable solution for digital transformation.

WHY BUILD A SMART CITY?

  • Building a smart city fills the need to achieve sustainable urban development

  • Enables further development of Information Technology Infrastructure

  • Improve overall quality of life of urban residents

5G

5G wireless technology supports higher multi-Gbps peak data speeds, ultra low latency, more reliability, massive network capacity, increased availability, and a more uniform user experience to more users.
Higher performance and improved efficiency empower new user experiences and connects the Internet of Things.

IOT

The Internet of Things (IoT) describes the network of physical objects—“things”—that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the internet. These devices range from ordinary household objects to sophisticated industrial tools.
With more than 7 billion connected IoT devices today, experts are expecting this number to grow to 10 billion by 2020 and 22 billion by 2025.

BIG DATA AND CLOUD

The mass of data produced by Internet of Things will require significant computing capacity.

The Smart City's cloud will function as a storage and analysis system for the data used in everything from autonomous vehicles to farms, PCs and server files, web page meta-data, images and video and data created by machine-to-machine communication will all be housed in the cloud.
